Cy (npub1hkd…yuns) I am one of those people behind the works that have been stolen—my books and audiobooks & covers have been (and continue to be!) fed to the machine without my consent. I will never consent to licensing my works for AI training but AI companies don’t think they need my consent. They take what they want. And that needs to be stopped. At this point, any AI trained on stolen works (which is all gen AI), should be shut down. You don’t get to profit just cuz you already stole
