Minor #SciComm thing for all of us writing #scientific papers. I found that when I post about papers, posts with visual media do better.
I try to use images from the paper, but their dimensions are not always ideal. Most social media (including here on Mastodon) use a 16:9 ratio for images. So a thing to keep in mind when you prepare your #figures, think of that one figure that will give the "show" of the paper, and keep those ratios in mind.
