Jan 4, 2025 @ 09:16 I can see right off the bat that my pages and many of my files weren't recovered properly, though I'm definitely thankful for what I got back, which is the majority! (If you watched my video below, you know what I'm talking about.) But this is how things will be for a while as I very slowly make the changes that I thought I could do in a week, with almost-catastrophic results, as you've heard in the video. There are lots of characters and emojis replaced by question marks, for example...and the entire right-hand column with the daily holiday and glimpses into my life photos is gone. I won't complain, I will just be spending all of my spare time making it right. I see that my font settings are different too...well, lots of things will be different with this page by the time I'm done - bwahahaha!
In other news my laptop was delivered today so I have spent the entire afternoon and evening bringing it up to speed: replaced Windows 11 with Linux first, then set up the browser (mostly), installed the most crucial programs I use, and brought my files over. Which my day now is (over). So I will see you in the morning, and try to live with the fact that I can't fix and change everything, as well as set up a new laptop, in a day hahaha! I hope you are having a great weekend so far, and I will see you tomorrow, good night!
