We lost touch for a while, but reconnected some years later in our 20's. I dropped by his apartment and he had an entire room of his apartment kitted out as an overflowing music library.
I wouldn't be surprised if by now he has an entire storage building next to his house where the piles of audio media are piled up in organized columns like a sound nut's version of a hedgerow maze.
Speaking of that, have you seen those photos they released of Prince's sound vaults with all of his unreleased recordings? Tons of his recordings were just strewn about in boxes outside of the vault. Evidently he forgot how to open the safe so everything inside was before a certain date and everything outside was after.
