Here in Florida, there is this weed that sheds a sticky pod that gets on everyone. No one I ask ever knows what it’s called. I finally tracked it down.

It’s called “beggar’s lice.” A browner variant is “beggar’s tick.”

Knowing this fact makes it no less annoying, however.
