Here is a first statement by the #EHT collaboration on Miyoshi et al 2024. There are numerous misleading statements about EHT data analysis (which involved multiple groups and multiple methods, addressing in depth all issue) and the image processing has basic flaws. As presented the image is not reproducible nor does he show any synthetic data tests that would make one believe his approach is reliable in this case. More analysis to follow.
