Getaway, the opening track on my new album, was written 8 months into the making of the album.
I'd been in a rut of the day job taking up all my time, and was hardly getting 20 minutes in the evening to play music before needing to crash. I was starting to feel desperate.
So I skived one day with the sole intention of playing music ALL DAY LONG. It was glorious. And out came this song.
