My top 5 (in no particular order):
1. John Martyn, somewhere in the 90s. Saw him many times, not sure which was the best.
2. John Lee Hooker, Manchester Free Trade Hall, late 80s. Man, he had some voodoo going on
3. Queen, Wembley, nuff said
4. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, 2000s, St James in Auckland
5. Richard Thompson, also Manchester Free Trade in the late 80s
