The #AltTxtMafia shames people for not having Alt-Text on memes and many people have told me that they STOP or LIMIT their posting to Mastodon as a result. Now, I do NOT want to say that Alt-Text is bad. I want to be super inclusive and expand the reach of my message to anyone that will tolerate it. But it hurts the growth of Mastodon.
