Libraries are safe public spaces which you don’t have to pay to access. They spread knowledge and feed creative minds…they allow those without a computer to access the internet to find jobs and support.

They are also underfunded and underused by the wealthy elite.

This I’m sure is as true in the US as UK.

But what we don’t have yet is fascists removing books and spreading fear to rob people of their safe place.
