But I can still remember the first we heard about it was our youngest calling up and asking if we’d been evacuated. Shortly after that we stood in the street watching it roar past, driven by the winds, looking like a 40 ft tall glowing orange beast that we could only see a section of. Hopefully things will turn out in your favor. Watching evacuation notices really sucks. We even had a false alarm during the last fire thanks to Ventura Police apparently jumping the gun.
