According to Robert Schiller, home prices for the past 100 years have risen no quicker than inflation. Asset prices in general rise in line with money creation. But the faster that inflation rises, and the more it affects asset price, the more banks can siphon off 6%/year in interest and the more the insurance industry can siphon off 4%/year for policies.
