My mom was discharged from the hospital late Monday. She went back to the nursing home. The doctors at Denton hospital wrote strict orders for the facility staff to follow. I'm making all the follow-up appointments with the wonderful doctors who treated her.
She is still wearing a wound vac and she's very weak. But the infection site looks so much better, and her legs aren't swollen and are back to normal color. On oral antibiotics now, no more IV. Resting comfortably.
