#writerscoffeeclub Jun 3: Should books include a content warning?
I'm on the fence a bit about this. I don't know what is likely to trigger people, so what gets a warning?
I write murder mysteries, so there's violence and killing. Do I need to warn about this?
My protagonist has PTSD/I and has some episodes where she is overcome by it. Do I need to warn about this?
On the other hand, I really don't like reading about graphic rape or sexual assault/abuse, and would appreciate notifications.
