I had two people ask me to contribute to their big project/event. When I was running a bit behind on my timeline, I made sure to ask for an extension. They said "sure"! Then I gave them my work that I spent LOTS of time on. After "Thanks" there are months of silence. This pisses me off and I'm less inclined to participate in these things again. The repeated disappointing results of collaborations with good intentions is wearing on me.
