If you want to choose independence then Orkney will leave and you’ll stop them which makes you just as bad as us” premise is downright silly. As an independence supporter I have no problems with the people of Orkney having a democratic referendum to decide their own future if that's what they want. If they want to stay part of Scotland, that’s fine. Likewise if they vote to rejoin Norway or become independent that’s fine too. That's democracy.
