1. Got a long soaking rainstorm here yesterday which really helped as we are in drought here in Virginia.
2. The other day, we watched Apocalypse Now. Not my favorite movie but I did enjoy seeing a young Martin Sheen and Harrison Ford. And I had completely forgotten that this is the movie they referenced in that scene on Seinfeld when J Peterman is in that cave and Elaine goes to see him.
3. Planning for the road trip with Dad later this month has helped with my lingering depression. Gives me something else to focus on.
4. Bonus: my hydrangea in the big pot on our deck has continued to bloom each year.
