I think we see it eventually. Maybe in a more tightly integrated service that just happens to use cashu. The trouble is the extra overhead required for the mint operator to ensure a good user experience. Chain UTXOs need to be deployed into channels to be usable on the lightning network, and deciding where that liquidity goes is difficult to automate.
