Have you ever heard of a large public works project without massive cost overruns ? It seems like it happens every time. The huge contractors have the best estimators as well as financing experts who carefully cost the government inflation numbers.
So why do the cost overruns continue to happen?
Because even very smart people are just learning how poly-dynamic the inflation is when it is coming from different inputs, like labor, commodity prices, and everything in between compounded. When politicians print money, it's like a cancerous mess all through the economy. Add in the common theft and corruption, and the public is screwed.
Inflation must stop for our society to grow.
