I only ask because we got rid of 6 (roughly half) people in my department, and the 3rd shift machining department is gone. My boss said they had 36 people doing the work of 18. He also told me I got to stay because I always made rate, if only he knew how much I've been half assing it for the past 6 months...
Anybody else's job laying off a ton of people?
