Essentially, I have a purpose. I’m not just out here ruining my life with no added benefits.
Here’s as much as I’ll say:
- Josh is a good example here, so just for a second, imagine that the alternative explanation for Kiwi Farms’ existence in a parallel universe was to “trial & error” or essentially, “penetration test” the boundaries of the Internet, what non-state owned entities will allow and what regular citizens will allow, eventually drawing out a long term evaluation regarding the measuring of boundaries online, and getting a better understanding of The Internet, law and social politics, as well as tech conglomerates.
Imagine I’m the opposite, I trial & error how easy it is to take stuff offline, how much you can get away with in retaliation to online attackers, and what people will believe, and the how far they’ll go in response to what they believe to be a lolcow as a regular citizen. Again, without using state powers, the aim would be to measure the limitations of a single regular individual online, just in the opposite direction.
- I have said this time and time again but there is almost zero unwanted connection between my online life and irl. At any time I can log off, and essentially, erase everything. In carrying out what I do, I learn things that are vital to understanding a “bigger picture”. It is important to eventually have no “vulnerabilities” which you cannot do without experiencing attacks.
- Despite there being a more professional or structured goal, I do relate this to a lot of my hobbies. I’ve always been obsessed with information, and understanding how things work, which enables me to push the boundaries on what can be done online, and how much can be forged.
I have pretty unlimited time when I want, and I have the facilities to create pretty schizo elaborate plans.
I’m not a genius, I’m not a schizophrenic, I’m also not just a bored NEET. The fact is, and what I’ve learnt from all of this, is one motivated regular individual on the Internet can do things that some lazy billionaires could only dream of.
Where there is determination, skill and TIME, yeah, you can survive, create and understand anything.
