The UAE Warriors Launches Arabic and International Versions on January 16

The organizing committee of the 'Warriors of the Emirates' mixed martial arts tournament announced the hosting of the 56th Arab-African and 57th international versions of the tournament from January 16 to 17 at the Yas Island's Space Arena in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 48 fighters. The Arab-African version will take place on January 16, featuring 12 matches, while the international version will take place on January 17, also featuring 12 matches. In one of the most anticipated matches in the Arab-African version, Moroccan fighter Javier Alawi will face Angolan Demarati Benia in the bantamweight category, while Lebanese fighter Omar Shaban will face Nigerian Tayo Odongo in the middleweight category. In the international version, Peruvian fighter Vicente Fargas will face Jordanian Ali Al-Qaisi in the featherweight category, and Albanian Fislon Ndrejoni will face Brazilian Wagner Noronha in the bantamweight category. This is the first edition of the tournament in 2025, after the successful organization of 10 editions in 2024, with a total of 117 matches featuring 199 fighters from 34 nationalities competing for 7 championship titles, including the first-ever women's flyweight title. The event will be organized by Palm Sports, with the support of the UAE and Asian Jujutsu Federations, and will be attended by a number of prominent fighters from around the world.
