My opinion: First of all, *The Moscow Times* has nothing to do with Russia; it is anti-Russian. Just for clarification. Secondly, Moscow has repeatedly made it clear since June 2024 that the minimum goals are as follows: Ukrainian soldiers must withdraw from the areas already declared Russian. No NATO membership for Ukraine. Ukraine will become a neutral state. Denazification of Ukraine. Demilitarization of Ukraine. No NATO troops on Ukrainian territory. No NATO maneuvers on Ukrainian soil. Recognition of Russian culture, language, and religion in Ukraine. Negotiations only with the US and Ukrainian representatives, excluding the EU. Agreements will be signed exclusively by a legitimate government or president. Therefore, legal new elections must be held first. Until then, there will be NO ceasefire. Whether the US will accept these conditions, I doubt. That's why I think the US will withdraw and leave it to the Europeans. But they won't agree either. And therefore, Ukraine will likely be completely defeated militarily and only a small area in the west will remain, which may collapse and be divided among Poland, Romania, and Hungary. We'll see.
