I say “Merry Christmas” because most people in America celebrate it regardless of religion, and most of the people who claim to be Christians aren’t even religious.

If you tell me you celebrate something else, I will wish you happy celebrations with that. If you don’t celebrate anything you can be comforted by the idea that I am wishing you well because of my culture, not because I need you to join mine.

I hate “happy holidays.” I swear my people (advertising) invented that stupid shit.
