OK, so maybe I'm getting mixed up about this.
Moshidon (my mobile app) shows other people's links to posts on the fediverse as quote posts, but on desktop it's not actually there? They just look like normal links.
I can actually do a quote post through the app but this doesn't appear to be the case on desktop. This may be a false alarm, though who knows, could still be a sign of things to come. Sorry for the confusion.
