One intriguing explanation for dark matter is primordial black holes formed shortly after the Big Bang in varying masses, from a few grams to thousands of solar masses. Astronomers have searched for primordial black holes but haven't found any evidence, and they can't rule it out either. In a new paper, scientists propose "out-of-the-box" ideas to search for black holes using new techniques and observatories.
