Lots of progress on my Sketchpad thing:

1) rewrote the solver from scratch -- now it's tiny and explainable, and is guaranteed to never blow up;

2) got an initial implementation of masters and instances working;

3) made a bunch of look-and-feel improvements.

Excited about this!!
