Illegal immigration, absolutely. Legal immigration is 100% acceptable, especially for noble reasons such as marriage. That said, not every passport bro stays in his home country. A lot of men go to countries like the aforementioned Philippines and stay there since the US dollar goes WAY further there. I hear so many stories of men who were making low-to-mid range wages in the middle class who go there, find a great wife and live comfortably (some even say they live like kings).
Mileage may vary, of course. The only experience I can speak from myself is that Filipinas (especially provincial women) are phenomenal, caring, traditional women who still care about being great wives and mothers. Haven't visited the country myself though, so I can't speak on that part.
