It might be that I’m getting older, or a bit of my disillusionment for what many tech companies have done, but I limited my dependency on services whose solution could just work offline. Like note-taking apps behind subscriptions… And if a service is really needed to access it across devices, then I self-host.
I wish it didn’t have to be like that…
