At a certain level of seniority you and your peers will share less and less in common, you don’t have the same jobs, you don’t work on the same products or solving the same problems. The two questions I’m thinking about are (1) does it represent a failure or company strategy that somehow we aren’t all aligned to something larger and compelling (2) are there practices to still make a regular staff meeting compelling under these conditions
