The rover TV did transmit video of the takeoff:

Note the camera doesn't tilt up to follow it - its tilt control was broken. After liftoff it worked for a while sending pictures of the surroundings, until it overheated and failed. If it had lasted a day longer (to 6 August 1971) it could have filmed an eclipse. To us, a lunar eclipse. To the rover, a solar eclipse. #moon #Apollo
