Rakeffet-Rothkoff is the current professor of rabbinic literature at Yeshiva University's Caroline and Joseph Gruss Institute in occupied Al-Quds. He is a prolific author, essayist and lecturer in the Jewish communal world who has led myriad Jewish-Zionist institutions over the years and has a particular expertise on the life of "The Rav", Rabbi Joseph Soloveitchik (L.A.)

Like Chabad's Rabbi Dovid Eliezrie, he has nothing to gain from lying about who and what Putin is. He is simply stating a fact and being candid to a room full of his coreligionists.

It is high time for everyone to reassess their position on Russia...
