–Take the Hankyu Kyoto line if headed to the Shijo/Kawaramachi area directly without needing to transfer at Kyoto station
–Take the Tokaido Shinkansen (Note: Requires you to get to Shin-Osaka)
–Take the Thunderbird (towards Fukui) or Haruka (from Kansai airport) express trains
