I finally found the perfect-for-me manager. He didn't (and still doesn't) understand why such basic things are so beyond me, but he accepts it - and and knows how awesome I am when I have the support I need.

In my first ~10 years I got promoted once. In my next ~5 years (with this manager) I got promoted 3 times and keep kicking every ass they put in my way. I wish THIS was something every company offered. 🤣
