We went for a walk today, and we saw turtles, and an insect I didn’t get a clear photo of, but which I think is maybe a giant leaf-footed bug, and also this very odd creature, which is apparently a mole cricket! Like in Animal Crossing! At first we thought this was some kind of crustacean, but with digging legs instead of claws. A lawn crayfish maybe? But those look different, and two ID apps say mole cricket, and photos of mole crickets look correct, so…
