I'm a little mixed on Nine Sols so far. I got a sour taste when they introduced a new mechanic, gave me a mini boss immediately afterwards that I had previously fought, clearly intended for me to practice the new mechanic, but the new mechanic is clearly worse than just dodging him normally. I'm sure the aerial parry works well but not in a room with a low ceiling and trails of fire on his AOE attacks. Better to just get behind him. Maybe the lesson was "don't fucking trust the game" in which case... That's a bizarre lesson.
