Same. the cost will vary depending on where you/they live. Me, I can live on less than 25k/year if I think I have to. Others think they'll need at least 100k or more. Then there is people who think they need to live in London or Manhattan others are happy in more rural areas. In Manhattan 100k is probably not enough while in Thailand (or elsewhere) 100k is plenty. Then there is people who need a BMW, others drive a Toyota etc etc etc.
Hence, these kind of questions are very difficult to answers.
