So let me get this straight. The Alabama Supreme Court has ruled that a frozen embryo is a child, and the Alabama legislature has just passed a law providing criminal and civil immunity for embryos destroyed by patients or health care involved in IVF. Which leads to the question of what other legislation might be passed that allows killing children… Because you really can't have it both ways, if an embryo is a child (which it patently is not!), you can't allow killing it.
