When I first got into ham radio my elmer told me "most folks are nice, you can talk to just about anybody on here about anything, but if you run into a jerk who just wants to rile things up, all you gotta do is turn this knob here to the left and they go away just like that." Now that I've been on the radio for about 15 years ive learned that is absolutely true. And guess what, it applies to social media too. Dont engage with jerks who are trying to rile things up.
