Maybe it's also not very socially acceptable. IMO it's a waste of another two years. Yes sitting around and playing video games all day is definitely worse than going to school. I think school ends up being an excuse of okay all I need to do is get a good / decent grades. Then you go to college all you need to do is get good grades. Then you get out and realize that the skills to get good grades are not really the skills to succeed in life... I wish I would have spent my late teens and early twenties failing trying to make a living for myself instead of sitting around in classrooms listening to people who have never even had a real job. I started a business in my mid thirties and it failed, I learned a lot and I wish I would have done it 15 10 years earlier. When I look back school was an excuse not to, ultimately that's on me, but there were a lot of carrots dangled in front of me to just stay in school and do the path everyone else did. All shortsighted.....
