I probably shouldn't have mentioned to the missu about the Indian decision to ban non-basmati rice exports. She went out shopping this morning and came home with 160 pounds of the stuff. If the apocalypse comes, we and the dogs will have enough to see us through. And this is on top of the 50 or 60 pounds worth we still have in the pantry.
