the biggest problem with #python is that they ban you when everyone is being hostile to you

and you're not allowed to do anything about others being hostile to you because obviously the bigger problem is how you respond to hostility, not the fact that ppl are being hostile to you

or maybe they banned us for pointing out deprecated things (like optparse) can stick around (despite attempts to remove them)? it's unclear.
