The conditional approval from underwriting came in today, and the closing date has been moved up from Jan. 2 to Dec. 30, so as long as I get all the necessary bank documentation and don't trash my credit between now and then I'm going to own a house.

(Still have to be out of my current place by Nov. 30 and I'm maybe halfway moved plus we're still arranging new fosters for my foster kitties so that's going to be a lot.)
