This is a super interesting thread, and wanted to throw in a couple sats; ownership over oneself is based on the ability to assert your ownership via non consent to others and ability to defend your position. If you can physically defend yourself against those who wish to do you harm, you can claim ownership. If you can emotionally, mentally, psychologically defend yourself (eg. guilt trips, psyops to get your consent and propaganda) you can claim ownership. I think of true sovereigncy as being this. As in, if no one can sway you, move you, strongarm you, and you're able to think for yourself, you are free to do what you want.

This could be very nuanced though. Just my thoughts on the matter.
