LOL! Watching an American "documentary" on so-called Somerton Man, a case I've read a bit about. While the facts in the narration are okay, the visuals they're showing are largely bullshit. I live quite close to Somerton and I can tell you the old photos they're showing are not Somerton beach. I have clear memories of Adelaide in the 50s and the police cars and, the police shown are not South Australian. One of the shots is Melbourne!
Most comically, their "photo" of the objects found in the man's pockets show a bus ticket for 40 cents. Decimal currency wasn't introduced until 18 years after the man died.
Oh, and Somerton man has since been identified by DNA and he wasn't any of the men suggested.
Conclusion: Don't believe everything you see on the history channel.
