same about advertising, i resisted long to install adblocks, buying into the necessary monetization of websites, but at some point, it became a necessity, it’s hard enough to keep a clear head on the internet, without people being ready to pay to get my attention, access my brain and put BS into it having the privilege to follow me everywhere.

If you add to that the fact it’s a common attack vector for malware, it just became basic hygiene necessity.
