ooh, you are! Please don’t take offense, but I wasn’t sure if you sewed leather or just did strap work.
My entire leatherworking experience is making easy bits of tack fifteen years ago, with Chicago screws and bolts. But I know embroidery stitches, and how to handle fabric! I’ve played around with the punches and the sewing awl.
(I almost certainly would’ve done more leather tack, but then I settled on the discipline that doesn’t use leather. Endurance riders love vinyl-dipped biothane tack because you can do *anything* to clean it, including the top rack of the dishwasher. Also we love garish colors, lol.)
