and build yourselves a little nest
to comfort you in times of need
when all the pain and strife and greed
are too much for your soul to bear
and you just need a breath of air

please sit a while in sun and cloud
when modern life becomes too loud
and talk to birds and bees and hills
or swimmy things with shiny gills

and please be gentle with your you
it's hard i know (i struggle too)
but though the dawn may bring a fight
