Beaglesattva (npub1nxf…ceh2) it blows my mind how they are bitching about people reasonably preferring fascism (BECAUSE IT FUCKING WORKED FOR THEM, THEY DON’T HAVE TO FEAR LIVING IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY), instead of bitching about how democracy has failed people so fucking much that something that could devolve into nasty authoritarianism is now being preferred and promoted.
It really fucks with me how democracy fans only really care that democracy is in place. Doesn’t matter if it doesn’t really provoke any kind of meaningful change or even positive change at fucking all. As long as people can chose it’s all fine even if the people are scared shitless of living in their own country
