thanks again, I've got EVERTYTHING now working with Companion: Overcame the timeout problem, and got global shortcuts to work with xdotool in Linux. It also shows red and green backgrounds for some Home Assistant buttons like WAN lost, AC load overload, gate battery low, etc.

I will likely do a video about this app too later in this month focussing more on some how-to's.
